Hot Jazz & Blues Ukulele Workshops and Lessons now available worldwide through Skype and Zoom.
I regularly have spaces for one to one ukulele lessons. Private lessons are open to all styles of music. I teach all ages, from complete beginners through to experienced players looking to expand their repertoire of techniques and songs.

Heavily influenced by my sometime duo partner in crime, the sublime Del Rey (www.delreyplays.com), I play uke in most of my blues shows. Many of the early blues players, especially in Alabama, Georgia and along the east coast of the US, played and sang in fairly high registers. This makes the ukulele an ideal accompaniment for pre-war blues and jazz. |
